In His Time

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

As the New Year approaches, many turn your heart and mind to the things you desire to accomplish. You believe if you work hard and remain diligent you will receive the desires of your heart.

Are you genuinely seeking God and what His will is for your life? When you seek God, scripture shares He will give you the desires of your heart.

What is the desire in your heart?

Is God sitting on the throne of your heart, or is he without a seat because you have everyone and everything else occupying His spot including your plans? When your plans reflect and include the Father, He is more than happy to bless and reward you.

Ask God daily what He wants for your life and whom He wants you to be a blessing to. Making plans are great, but be sure not to be in such a hurry to fulfill “your” plans.

God has a plan for you and is preparing you step-by-step. It will all come in His time.

Delight yourself in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

~ Psalm 37:4 ESV ~

Take a few minutes today, and seek God’s plans for your life. When your plans align with His plans, you are living in God’s power! Daily seek his wisdom and guidance in your life.

Where do you want to go in 2019? What are the baby steps to take you there? God will show you clearly the path to take!

Pray this scripture:

Show me the right path, O Lord;
    point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me by your truth and teach me,
    for you are the God who saves me.
    All day long I put my hope in you.

~ Psalm 25:4-5 NLT ~
